About Our Rodent Exterminator Service
According to NYC Health Department data, rat complaints have surged in recent years, making rodent control one of the most critical pest services in the city. Mice and rats not only damage property and contaminate food, but also carry diseases. Our integrated rodent exterminator approach combines thorough exclusion (sealing entry points), eco-friendly bait stations, traps, and ContraPest — an innovative birth-control bait for rats that reduces populations without mass poisoning.
What’s Included
- ✓Exclusion — seal entry points to prevent re-entry
- ✓Eco-friendly bait stations and traps
- ✓ContraPest birth-control bait (brand differentiator)
- ✓Interior and exterior treatment
- ✓Follow-up visit included
Our Treatment Process
We begin with a full inspection of the property to identify entry points, harborage areas, and activity signs. We then seal gaps, cracks, and openings using rodent-proof materials. Bait stations and traps are placed strategically, and ContraPest liquid bait is deployed for rat populations. A follow-up visit monitors activity and adjusts placement.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is ContraPest and why do you use it?
ContraPest is an EPA-registered birth-control bait that reduces rat fertility rather than relying solely on lethal methods. It is an eco-preferred option that helps reduce rat populations over time without mass secondary poisoning risks to wildlife.
How do I know where rats are getting in?
Common entry points include gaps around pipes, cracks in foundations, under doors, and around utility penetrations. Our inspection process identifies all potential entry points, and we seal them as part of the exclusion service.
Can you get rid of mice in an apartment building?
Yes. We work with building managers and individual tenants to address both the individual unit and common areas. Multi-unit buildings benefit from a coordinated treatment and exclusion program.
